UDOT has completed an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to evaluate possible improvements on I-80 from I-15 to 500 East and on State Street from 2100 South to 2700 South in South Salt Lake City. We would like to thank you for your feedback given during the public review and comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS).
FHWA has issued a combined Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS)/Record of Decision (ROD) approving the selected alternative. All comments have been responded to and addressed in the FEIS/ROD. Click on the Downloads tab to view the FEIS/ROD.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project have been carried-out by UDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated January 17, 2017, and executed by FHWA and UDOT.
