Description

Roadside Safety efforts are targeted towards keeping vehicles from leaving the roadway and mitigating crash severity when vehicles do leave the road. UDOT uses rumble strips, cable barriers, guardrails, and concrete barriers are all used to mitigate crash severity. This project will provide protection and enhance the environment in regards to wildlife. Fencing installation allows UDOT to improve the safety of Utah roadways and work toward our goal of Zero Fatalities. Fencing may include chain link, field fence or wildlife fence.
