On the nights of Friday, September 15, and Saturday, September 16, all lanes southbound I-15 will be Bridge Beams are up over 3000 West, but there is still more to come. This coming week, crews will begin placing deck panels. Read more below for impact.
What's Happening Now
3000 West (Syracuse) (NEW)
- On Monday, March 4, 3000 West between Antelope Drive and Bluff Road will have one-way flagging operations set up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while crews do road surfacing.
3200 West and 2200 West (Layton) (NEW)
- Continuing through Friday, February 2, the one-way flagging operation will be set up periodically on 3200 West and 2200 West from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews grind roads.
Ongoing Project Work
UDOT will continue utility coordination, debris clearing, fence installation, drainage installation, bridge construction, and paving on this major new highway. The West Davis project team will also continue to coordinate closely with residents, businesses, city leadership, and other key stakeholders.
Schedule is subject to change due to equipment, material, utility and/or weather delays.
Project Overview
West Davis is a new 16-mile, 4-lane divided highway that will be constructed in western Davis County between the I-15/Legacy Parkway junction at approximately Glovers Lane in Farmington and the future extension of S.R. 193 in West Point. A map of the future highway is available here.
Freeway-style interchanges with on- and off-ramps will be built at Legacy/I-15 (Farmington), 950 North (Farmington), 200 North (Kaysville), 2700 West (Layton), 2000 West (Syracuse), and Antelope Drive (Syracuse).
West Davis will include over 10 miles of new trail and new trail connections to create a consolidated system connecting Emigration Trail to Legacy Parkway Trail.
