The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has established a Community Coordination Team (CCT) on the US 89; Farmington to Interstate 84 project to provide opportunities for local stakeholder input throughout project design. The US 89 CCT includes 12-15 members representing neighborhoods, cities, and other interests, who will provide input on design elements such as roadway profile, traffic-related noise, aesthetic treatments, and other matters of concern. This team will help UDOT explore ways to minimize project impacts while meeting engineering standards, budgetary constraints and motorist and community needs.
CCT members play a crucial role in sharing information between the public and the project team. UDOT asks CCT members to serve as project partners by being a conduit of information between the project and community.
This means CCT members will:
· Share information from the project team with the community
· Share feedback from the community with the project team
